”I am delighted to welcome Matthew to FCG. With the increased pressure and regulations in ESG the need for the financial market to integrate ESG considerations in daily operations, identifying and managing ESG-risks has become a top priority for the financial services industry. Matthew’s knowledge and extensive hands-on experience from ESG and the financial sector will serve our customers well to navigate the challenges in the ESG area, not only in Norway but in all countries where we have offices.” says Christine Ehnström, Head of Advisory.
“FCG has a leading position in the Nordic market for Governance, Risk and Compliance, and a team of extremely competent advisors who are experts on the financial sector. This was central to my decision to join FCG, as I believe companies will require advisors with detailed knowledge of finance in order to integrate sustainability regulations over the coming years. I look forward to being a part of this team and to establishing FCG as the market leader for Sustainable Finance in Norway as well as in its other markets going forward” says Matthew Smith.
Matthew will join FCG on May 2, 2022.
